George Town UNESCO World Heritage City

George Town is the capital of Penang which is also the centre for Penang state administration and  centre for important commercial activities, social activities and entertainment. There are many places of interest in this city which you can't afford to miss. These include Kek Lok Si, Khoo Kongsi, Kuan Yin Teng (Goddess of Mercy), Wat Chayamangkalaram (a Buddhist temple with the world's biggest sleeping Buddha). Kapitan Keling Mosque in Jalan Kapitan Keling and Fort Cornwallis at the esplanade. The Khoo Kongsi, a historical architectural heritage with distinctive and unique carving  by master craftsmen from China is an interesting place to visit. George Town is an interesting heritage city with its distinctive charming and unique historical building will never let you down.
