Khoo Kongsi is an well kept heritage building with its traditional rich craftsmanship in Chinese in the wood carvings and ornamented beams. A . It displayed The Pinang Peranakan Mansion, one of the attraction in Baba Nyonya foot print in Penang, was also known as Hai Kee Chan. It was the former residence of the Chinese Kapitan, Chung Keng Kwee and build at the end of the 19th century. The hall is decorated with beautiful rows of lanterns and antique furniture. Khoo Kongsi was built by the forefathers of the Khoo Family and was completed in 1898. Khoo Kongsi is known as one of the grandest clan temple in Penang and believe to be resemblance to the Emperor's palace in China.
