Pesta Pulau Pinang (Penang Trade Fair)
Pesta Pulau Pinang is one of the annual trade event in Penang Island which attracts thousands of local people. This event is held in December every year offering a place of entertainment with carnival rides, stage performance and shopping promos and leisure.
Thousands of people, adults and children alike, have been thronging the Pesta site in Sungai Nibong, Penang, to shop, dine, play games, and enjoy the various performances at the Pesta site. There are over hundreds of stalls selling myriad products such as clothes, textiles, furniture, electrical appliances, electronic gadgets, toys and food stuff.
A line up of exciting performances which includes performances by the local artistes and the Asia Pacific Entertainment and Acrobatic Troup from Shanghai from 17 December to December 21, 2011. Other highlights events such as talent search competitions, a "teh tarik" competition and sports events like badminton, boxing and Muay Thai.
The fair is open daily from 6pm to 11.30pm from 28 November 2011 to 1 January 2012. Tickets are RM 3 for adults and RM1 for children below 12.
